Students at IMI
I had never ever thought of a professional career in the Film industry. I was in the last
semester of my Bachelors in Art History at Faculty of Fine Arts, when IMI came to conduct Filmmaking Foundation Program
at M.S. University, Vadodara. Initially I was least interested but on the insistence of our dean, I joined the course.
Amazingly, it carved my career path. Thanks to four films I made during the IMI Filmmaking Workshop, I got my first job
in Moving Pixel- a Production house in Ahmedabad, where I made documentaries. Within six months, I moved to Mumbai and
joined Pumpkin Pictures and worked in 3 Ad films. Now I am a freelancer, working as an Assistant Art Director in an English
language Film 'Dam 999', an Indo-Hollywood Production. Today I am flying internationally, thanks to IMI.
